Went to the writer's event at the Franklin County Library yesterday. We heard presentations from a danish cookbook author and a political writer that I supposed to be a right leaning guy with Newsmax as one of his sources. The cookbook writer was chatty and appropriate for her audience of senior ladies. Both authors were self published to start off their endeavors. The gentleman stated that it cost him $6K to publish his first book. Frankly, he was careful not betray his true feelings on the performance of our president. Went to our favorite watering hole on foot in the afternoon. I had another favorite brew from the local brewery, Oyster City based in Apalachicola. Another great weather day in town with a long dog walk on the beach.As I am writing this at 8:23 in the morning, the report of the student shooting at MSU yesterday. This another sadly recurring event in our country, this time, closer to home, 15 months after the Oxford shooting. Been listening to a national report. I am at a loss.
